Shared Tour: Naples & Skip the Line Pompeii Tour with Lunch. Pick-up from hotel included

After leaving Rome and driving along the "Sun Route" motorway, we will cross the regions of Lazio and Campania. From the road you will enjoy the view of the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Once in Naples, there will be a short panoramic tour of the city. We will then continue towards Pompeii where, after lunch in a restaurant, we will visit the excavations of this world-famous Roman town destroyed by the eruption of the Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. before returning to Rome.

This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing company upon arrival to reconfirm their tour.

Approximately 13 hours 30 minutes including travel time

Meeting point:
Meeting location: Hotel lobby if pre-arranged. Start time: Pick up starting at 6:30 AM (centrally loacted hotels). Hotel pick-ups will start up to one hour prior to tour's start time depending hotel's location.

Ending point:
In front of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri near Metro A line stop Piazza della Repubblica and Termini Station (Metro A and B)

7:30am daily, except first Sunday of each month.

Additional Information:
Travel time from Rome to Naples is approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. The visit in Naples is approximately 40 minutes. Arrive in Pompeii at approximately 12:30pm. The visit at the excavations is approximately 2 hours. Depart Pompeii for Rome at approximately 5:15pm.

Extra entrance fees for any special exhibitions that may be held during your visit will be charged locally at the time of the tour.

We recommend comfortable shoes for walking on uneven terrain.

Visitors in shorts, low cut clothing or with uncovered shoulders are not admitted into churches.

Tour does not operate except first Sunday of each month. January 1 or December 25.
