On our semi-private walking tour of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, you will enter an hour before the general public and explore centuries of religious history, architectural treasures and some of the most important works of art ever created. You will move throughout the Vatican Museums, visiting the Hall of Maps, octagonal courtyard, Raphael Rooms and more. You will face visionary artists such as Michelangelo, Caravaggio, da Vinci and Raphael as your guide explains the significance, heritage and meaning of those crucial works of art. We then head to the Sistine Chapel to view a piece of work many consider to be the most magnificent execution of craft and skill ever done by a single man. Concluding the tour in St. Peter's Basilica, the significance of the Vatican's art, architecture, culture and faith will become overwhelmingly apparent.
