Small Group Tour: In the City of Bikes Tour On this guided biking tour you will ride a Dutch back-pedal bike in a city built for biking as you hear stories about the city's past and present. This bike tour, inspired by Pete Jordan's book, "In the City of Bikes", will take you through downtown out to the northern dykes. Along the way you will see historical sites in the financial district and learn about the impact of windmills, canals and walls on the area. You will see at least 500 bikes parked in stalls by the waterfront and an intersection where at least 30 bikes pass by every minute. This tour will have you cycling like a local by its end.

This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Your voucher is confirmation of your tour; simply take it to the meeting point of your tour and present it to your guide.

Approximately 3 hours

Meeting point:
Rent-a-Bike Shop, Damstraat 20-22

Ending point:
Amsterdam City Center

Departures:
10:00am daily except Monday

Not Included:
Transportation to/from hotel, beers at the brewery and coffee and/or snacks at the library terrace bar, gratuities

Additional Information:
Tour does not operate January 1-March 15, April 26-29, May 5, November 15-December 31.
Maximum group size is 12 people.
Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted on this tour.
Proper shoes for riding a bike are recommended, as well as, wet weather gear if it is raining.
