The following information has been compiled to help you stay informed of the constantly changing landscape of travel to Europe for North Americans. Below you will find updates about our policies, a country-by-country Travel Planning section, as well as links to additional helpful resources. Scroll down or use the 'Quick Menu' in the upper right corner to navigate to each section.
Travel Insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Even in the best of times, travel insurance is an important element of any international vacation. Travel Insurance not only covers a client's payment, but also provides medical coverage for injury or illness while traveling. Most Health Insurance in the US does not provide coverage when traveling in Europe.
During these times of COVID, it is even more important than ever that clients understand the risks of not purchasing Travel Insurance. We are seeing clients test positive prior to departure for Europe, causing them to cancel their plans. We are seeing clients test positive before returning home, or moving on to another country on their itinerary, requiring them to self-isolate for 1-2 weeks, or worse, seek medical assistance in a hospital. All of this can come at great financial cost to your clients.
Please protect your clients and their money - make sure they have Travel Insurance that covers them while abroad, and ensure it has coverage for costs associated with contracting COVID, before or during their travels.
If you need assistance offering an appropriate policy, you can find two non-age-rated options at the following link, including a Cancel for Any Reason policy: https://www.etravelprotection.com/europeexpress/home
We are experiencing a high level of requests for Summer 2022 and response times may be delayed. To help mitigate this, please provide full details, and request your quotes as early as possible. To request a quote, contact our Reservations Specialists at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-927-3876, or use our online Custom Vacation Builder to plan and book an itinerary yourself. If you choose to start an itinerary online, you may save it and contact our Reservations Specialists for assistance with areas you are not comfortable with, or to request services you do not see in our online Vacation Builder - simply supply the saved booking number when contacting our Reservations team.
There is no charge for requesting a quote, and they are stored in our system for 30-days. If your clients need longer, you can request an extension with your Reservations Specialist.

The following information has been compiled to assist with your clients' travel planning. Due to the rapidly changing conditions across Europe, regulations and restrictions adopted by individual countries may change without advance notice. As a result, Europe Express has made every effort to confirm that the information in this Travel Planning section is accurate as of the above date but cannot guarantee accuracy after that date. Please regularly consult the links below to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about entry requirements for all countries on your clients' itinerary. Europe Express is not responsible for costs associated with passengers being denied entry due to not meeting requirements for travel. Please contact your BDM or a Reservations Specialist if you have additional questions.
IMPORTANT: Although countries have reopened their borders to international travelers, conditions have not yet returned to the way things were prior to the pandemic, and the travel experience may be different. It is important to set expectations with your clients. Service levels at local businesses, attractions, restaurants and other venues will likely not yet be the same as they were pre-COVID. Europe Express confirms services prior to departure, however, staffing reductions in Europe and frequently changing COVID restrictions could impact the service delivery of our partners with little or no notice.
If your clients do not have a flexible mindset, they should consider delaying their travels to Europe to allow local restrictions to be further relaxed, and more local businesses and suppliers to fully reopen.
Please continue to consult the provided links for the most up-to-date and country-by-country information.
Day of arrival Sightseeing and Activities
Due to an increase in flight delays and cancellations, as well as potential delays at passport control on arrival, we strongly advise that clients do not book sightseeing/activities early on the day of arrival. If these services are missed due to delays on arrival, suppliers will deem them non-refundable.
