Shared Tour: Ancient Montenegro
This excursion to the Bay of Kotor—home to some of the Montenegro’s earliest inhabited areas—will introduce guests to the country’s pristine landscapes, historic settlements, and medieval religious art. After visiting the old mountain-fringed town of Perast, guests will board a boat to the islets of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks—the latter of which is home to a medieval church that houses a 15th-century icon of the Virgin Mary. From there, participants will continue on to the UNESCO-listed town of Kotor for a guided tour of the walled city. Guests will have free time to experience the area on their own before returning to Dubrovnik.
This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Participants must contact the local sightseeing company upon arrival to reconfirm their tour.

Duration:
Approximately 12 hours.

Meeting point:
 Hotel lobby if pre-arranged.

Ending point:
 Hotel lobby if pre-arranged.

Departures:
 Pick up from central hotels will be between 6:45 and 09:05 AM. This tour operates only on Tuesdays (from early May to early October), Thursdays (from early May to mid-October).
Included:
 Transportation from/to hotel, boat ride, local guide in Kotor, entrance fees Our Lady of the Rocks.

Not Included:
 Gratuities, meals.


Additional Information:
 This tour is not recommended for children under 4 years old. Comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
