Europe Express, a leading tour operator to Europe, was founded in 1990 by its current president, Paul Barry. The company manages and operates a group of companies which, in addition to Europe, provides independent leisure travel to South America, Central America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Other destination options, such as Africa and India are being launched; with future plans to grow its destination choices throughout the world.
The Europe Express Group of Companies consists of multi-channel distribution companies including: go-today.com for direct to consumer vacation packages; E.E.I. Travel and Brian Moore International Tours (BMIT) with travel agent distribution; and private label programs of Virgin Vacations, Air France Holidays, and LANVACATIONS. In addition, Travel Services Europe (TSE) is the contracting division for hotels and travel services throughout Europe.
Europe Express was acquired by First Choice Holidays PLC in 2005.
The Tourism Division of TUI AG and First Choice Holidays PLC merged in September 2007 to create TUI Travel PLC. The new company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is one of the world’s leading leisure travel companies operating in 180 countries worldwide with over 30 million customers from more than 20 countries and 48,000 colleagues across all our businesses.
