Start your day with a small group guided tour of Varaždin, one of Croatia's oldest cities. Nicknamed “Little Vienna,” this charming city on the Drava River is known for its baroque and rococo architecture. The 16th-century Town Hall and the rococo-style Sermage Palace are Varaždin’s most famous historical structures.
Your next stop is Trakošcan Castle, which looks straight out of a fairytale. Cross the drawbridge to this forested castle with stone walls, red-tiled turrets, and views for miles. Inside, marvel at authentic antique furnishings, medieval weapons, and stunning tapestries.
This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Participants must contact the local sightseeing company upon arrival to reconfirm their tour.
