Small Group Tour: Madrid Gourmet Tapas & Local Neighbourhoods On this tour your guide will give you an introduction and an overall feel for the city starting off with a hot drink and pastry before heading to the La Latina neighborhood, which is filled with coffee shops and restaurants. You will see inns from the 17th century that are now trendy hotels and also Rastro Market, which is the biggest flea market in the country. Next, we will visit the multicultural Lavapies neighborhood where we will visit an old food market, see an old religious school and traditional patio houses. Finally, we will visit another food market and arts center where you will learn about gypsy and flamenco culture while sampling Spanish cuisine.

This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Your voucher is confirmation of your tour; simply take it to the meeting point of your tour and present it to your guide.

Duration:
Approximately 4 hours

Meeting point:
Plaza Isabel II, at the statue of the woman in the middle of the square, facing the Opera House's facade

Ending point:
The heart of Barrio de Las Letras neighborhood:  Huertas Street corner with Calle del Leon street.

Departures:
 09:30am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only

Not Included:
Transportation to/from hotel, additional food and drink, gratuities

Tour does not operate from January 1 to February 28, April 14, 15; May 2, 16; July 25; August 15; October 12; November 1, 9; December 6, 8, 24, 25, 31.
Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted on this tour.
