From there, the journey continues through the historic city center, shaped during the Dutch Golden Age and known for its elegant canal houses and more than a thousand bridges. Key highlights include Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the New Church, and the Munttoren. Along the way, participants stroll beside scenic canals and the Amstel River while gaining insight into Amsterdam’s development as a global trading hub.
The walk also visits the tranquil Begijnhof, home to one of the city’s oldest wooden houses, dating to the early 15th century, offering a rare glimpse into Amsterdam’s medieval past.
