Small Group Tour: The Miracle of Wine and Olive Oil
Savor the culinary heritage of Crete on a small group journey through the Chania countryside, where olive groves and vineyards shape daily life. This immersive experience connects them with the island’s most celebrated flavors and the traditions behind them.
At a local olive oil estate, they learn how olives move from grove to press and sample premium extra-virgin varieties during a guided tasting. A visit to a regional winery follows, where they explore the cellar and discover indigenous grape varieties before enjoying thoughtfully paired wines and Cretan delicacies.
In the village of Vouves, they stand before a 3,000-year-old olive tree, one of the oldest in the world, and visit the Olive Tree Museum. The day continues at a second winery for a vineyard walk, an introduction to local production methods, and a tasting served with a traditional meze platter and light lunch.
