They begin at a family-run olive mill to learn how extra-virgin olive oil moves from harvest to bottle. A guided tasting highlights its peppery finish and fresh aroma. At a nearby distillery, they discover the craft behind tsikoudia, Crete’s signature spirit, and sample this time-honored drink.

In the village of Embrosneros, the scent of wood-fired ovens leads them to a local bakery for freshly baked bread and traditional biscuits. A visit to a cheese producer follows, where Graviera and Mizithra are paired with local honey and barley rusks.

The experience concludes in Fres with a traditional Cretan lunch featuring hearty regional dishes, offering a flavorful introduction to the island’s culinary heritage.
