Travel Advisors depart the U.S. on independently arranged international flights, beginning their Central Europe familiarization journey. Overnight: In flight.
Day 2: Friday, November 13, 2026 — Arrival in Budapest
Upon arrival in Budapest, Travel Advisors are met and transferred by private car to the hotel. Time is reserved to settle in and take in initial views of the Danube before gathering for a welcome dinner at the hotel. This evening provides an opportunity to connect with fellow Advisors and Europe Express hosts while setting the tone for the journey ahead. Included: Private transfer, welcome dinner. Ideally located along the Danube River on the Buda side of the city, Radisson Park Plaza Budapest offers convenient access to many of Budapest’s most iconic landmarks, including the Parliament building and Chain Bridge. This 4-star hotel combines contemporary style with a strong sense of place, featuring comfortable accommodations and thoughtfully designed interiors. Day 3: Saturday, November 14, 2026 — Budapest City Tour & Leisure Time
Following breakfast, Travel Advisors meet their local guide for a half-day city tour with private coach transportation. Highlights include Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church, offering both historical context and panoramic views across the city. The afternoon is at leisure, allowing time for independent exploration or optional hotel site inspections. Lunch and dinner are on Advisors’ own. Budapest Grand City Tour
The tour begins at Chain Bridge, continuing past the Hungarian Parliament before crossing Margaret Bridge to the Buda side of the city. In the Castle District, Travel Advisors enjoy a short guided walk featuring key highlights, including Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, where panoramic views stretch across the Danube. The journey continues to Gellért Hill (Citadel) for one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Budapest. Crossing Elisabeth Bridge into Pest, the tour introduces the Central Market Hall and Europe’s largest synagogue before proceeding to City Park. Munich Walking City Tour (Munich)
Travel Advisors discover Munich’s rich history and vibrant character during a guided walking tour through the city’s historic center. Spanning more than eight centuries of Bavarian heritage, the experience highlights Munich’s role as a cultural and political hub shaped by royal influence, religious tradition, and civic pride.
