Greve in Chianti offers a lively introduction, with a central piazza framed by arcades, historic buildings, and a statue honoring explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano. The route continues to Castellina, an ancient Etruscan settlement known for its medieval streets, Church of Saint Salvatore, and former fortress turned town hall.
