Journey from Bordeaux to one of the world’s most important pilgrimage destinations on this private full-day tour to Lourdes, following the life and legacy of Saint Bernadette Soubirous. Upon arrival, begin with a guided visit of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, home to the town’s most important religious landmarks. Explore the Crypt, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, the Basilica of the Rosary, and the vast underground Basilica of Saint Pius X, before reaching the revered Grotto of the Apparitions, a place of prayer, reflection, and quiet devotion.

Free time is provided for personal discovery, prayer, or collecting Lourdes spring water (at own expense). In the afternoon, continue walking in the footsteps of Bernadette with visits to the Boly Mill, her birthplace, and Le Cachot, the former prison where her family lived during the time of the apparitions. Optional time can be arranged for the Lourdes bathing experience, subject to availability. The day concludes with a private return to Bordeaux.
