Shared Tour: Cooking Classes - Tapas
Step into Madrid’s culinary scene during this shared four-hour cooking class in the heart of the city. An official guide meets guests at their centrally located hotel and introduces them to the capital’s rich food culture during a short walk through nearby streets. The experience continues in a fully equipped kitchen designed for hands-on learning and relaxed interaction.
Led by a professional chef, participants prepare 10 traditional tapas that reflect Spain’s regional diversity. Recipes may include salmorejo, a chilled tomato soup from Andalusia; Idiazábal cheese bites from the Basque Country; gambas al ajillo with garlic and olive oil; patatas bravas with spicy sauce; and the classic Spanish omelet. Additional tastings can feature coca with sobrasada from the Balearic Islands, a squid sandwich, horchata, and torrijas, a beloved sweet treat.
No prior cooking experience is required. The class concludes with time to enjoy the dishes together, paired with insight into how Madrid unites flavors from across Spain.
