The Golden Circle bus tour takes you on a full-day journey to experience three of Iceland’s most remarkable natural landmarks: the world-famous Geysir geothermal area, where Strokkur erupts dramatically every few minutes; the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall, where torrents of glacial water plunge into a deep, winding gorge; and Þingvellir National Park, a site of extraordinary natural beauty and great historical and geological significance.

Transportation to/from your Reykjavík hotel or nearest bus stop, tour transportation, guide.

Entrance to the Geysir multimedia show, meals, beverages, gratuities, and anything not mentioned above.
Meeting point:
Due to a new regulation passed by the local authorities in Reykjavík, vehicles operated by travel companies can no longer access certain parts of the city. If your hotel falls within this zone, you will be required to walk to/from your hotel to the designated pick-up/drop-off point. This should be no further than a 5 to 10-minute walk. Please call the service supplier listed above to confirm the pick-up/drop-off point. The pickup is operated by a special pick-up bus marked ‘Tour pick up’. Once you have reached the BSI Bus Terminal, you will be guided to the correct bus for your tour. Pickups begin approximately 30 minutes prior to the tour’s start time.

Important Information:
The majority of the tour is conducted outdoors. Remember to dress according to the weather. Warm clothes, a waterproof jacket, and sturdy shoes are recommended. We also recommend bringing thermal layers, a winter hat, scarf, gloves, and warm socks for colder days. Don’t forget to pack snacks and a water bottle.
Please be standing in front of your pick-up location 30 minutes prior to the tour start time to help ensure the quickest possible collection of participants.
