Shared Tour: Pompeii and Vesuvius Tour from Sorrento with Lunch Select Tour
On this day-long tour, guests will spend the day exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii and visiting Mount Vesuvius. In the morning, they will make their way to the Achille Lauro parking area to board their tour vehicle. They will drive down from Sorrento to Pompeii, where they will meet their local guide. The next two hours will be spent exploring the famous Archeological Park of Pompeii, which captures the life and times of the Roman city buried live by the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the ancient age. Participants will visit the ruins of Pompeii’s ancient buildings like the Roman baths, bakeries, and theaters. Afterwards, they will enjoy a lunch of grilled vegetables, bruschetta, and fresh pasta chased by wine, and a refreshing gelato dessert. Lunch will be followed by a visit to Mount Vesuvius and its crater. At the end of the tour, they will drive back to Sorrento.

Not suitable for: Wheelchairs, people with mobility challenges.

- Guests are advised to reach the meeting point well before the tour start time.
- Entrance fees of €16 for Pompeii (as of Winter 2021) are to be paid on the spot in cash only.
- This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure.
- Handbags, backpacks, and cases larger than 11.5 x 11.5 x 5.75 inches are not allowed inside the Pompeii and Herculaneum excavations.
- Guests are advised to wear comfortable closed-toed shoes for walking in the sand at Pompeii and Vesuvius.
