Small Group: Excursion to an authentic Valencian orange orchard at Afternoon
Just 30 minutes from Valencia, discover the authentic spirit of La Ribera with a visit to the historic Orange Orchard of 1870. This immersive experience blends architecture, agriculture, and flavor in one unforgettable setting. Begin inside the elegant Modernist house, a striking 19th-century gem that reflects the eclectic style of its era. From there, wander through romantic gardens and vibrant groves, where citrus trees flourish alongside avocados, papayas, olives, and almonds.
Take part in hands-on activities such as calibrating and preparing orange boxes to take home, while learning about the many citrus varieties grown in the region. A guided walk reveals the history of the Valencian orange and its cultural significance. The experience is crowned by a delicious tasting of natural juice, jams, honey, and local liqueurs.
