Small Group: Gaudi Highlights and Paella Cooking Class
Discover Barcelona through the genius of Antoni Gaudí and the flavors of Catalonia on this engaging small group experience. The tour blends architectural insight with hands-on cooking for a dynamic introduction to the city’s culture.
They begin on Passeig de Gràcia, admiring the exterior of Casa Batlló and La Pedrera while learning how Catalan Modernism transformed Barcelona at the turn of the 20th century. The walk continues to Casa Vicens, Gaudí’s first major commission, where his early artistic influences and evolving style come into focus.
After exploring Gaudí’s landmarks, they step into a professional kitchen for a guided cooking class. Under the direction of a local chef, they prepare paella, mussels in marinera sauce, cuttlefish with garlic and parsley, pa amb tomàquet, and homemade sangria. The experience concludes with a shared meal featuring the dishes they created.
