Small Group: Half-Day Winery Tour and Tasting
Escape to the rolling valleys of Utiel-Requena, often called the Valencian Tuscany, where vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see. This protected designation of origin has produced wine since the 7th century BC, making it one of the world’s oldest winemaking regions. Less than an hour from Valencia, it offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and flavor.
Begin at the Murviedro Historical Winery, tucked within Requena’s charming old town. Here, descend into 12th-century underground caves once used to store wine and food, preserved by their constant cool temperature. In this atmospheric setting, savor a guided tasting of a local wine before moving to the main hall for two more varietals paired with a regional appetizer.
From hidden caves to sunlit vineyards, this journey immerses guests in Valencia’s proud wine tradition.
