Small Group - Highlands Off The Beaten Path: Torridon, Applecross & Eilean Donan Castle
Experience the untamed beauty of the Scottish Highlands on this full-day scenic adventure from Inverness. Travel through rugged mountain passes, remote villages, and along some of Scotland’s most iconic driving routes—including the winding Bealach na Bà, one of the most striking roads in the country.
Start the day heading north over the Beauly Firth, with photo stops along the way before reaching the dramatic viewpoint above Loch Maree. Visit the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve Visitor Centre to learn about native pinewoods and local conservation efforts. Continue through the ancient Torridon mountains and along the coast to the picturesque village of Sheildaig.
Stop in Applecross for lunch and enjoy time to relax along the shoreline. Then, take in panoramic views as you travel the famous mountain road back down to sea level.
