Explore the wild beauty and cultural richness of Lewis and Harris on this three-day journey through Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. From dramatic coastlines and ancient ruins to artisan traditions and white-sand beaches, this tour offers a well-rounded look at two of Scotland’s most captivating islands.
Begin in Inverness and travel through the Highlands to Ullapool, where a scenic ferry ride takes you across Loch Broom to Stornoway. On arrival, visit the historic blackhouse at Arnol and take in sweeping coastal views from the Butt of Lewis.
On the second day, venture south into Harris. Discover towering peaks, quiet villages, and the celebrated Luskentyre Beach, where turquoise waters meet soft white sands. Along the way, learn about Harris Tweed and local island life.
Day three includes a visit to Dun Carloway Broch, one of Scotland’s best-preserved Iron Age sites. Walk the golden sands of Ardroil Beach, where the Lewis Chessmen were found. End the trip with a return ferry and a scenic drive back to Inverness.
