Housed in the historic A-wing of Crumlin Road Gaol, this immersive distillery experience celebrates the revival of McConnell’s Irish Whisky, a Belfast-born brand with roots stretching back to the late 1700s. The state-of-the-art facility offers a fascinating look into the city’s rich distilling heritage, once a dominant force in Ireland’s whiskey industry. On the Connoisseur Tour, guests explore the craft of whiskey making, from its early traditions to the brand’s modern-day restoration. Along the way, they’ll witness the production process firsthand, including a taste of the fresh ‘new make’ spirit straight from the stills. The journey continues with samplings of award-winning whiskies, including a rare Cask Strength expression and the exclusive McConnell’s Old Cromac Collection 20 Year Old Single Malt.
