Spend three unforgettable days discovering the dramatic landscapes, legends, and rich flavors of the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Depart from Edinburgh and head northwest through breathtaking Highland scenery. Stop at peaceful Loch Lubnaig and the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor before reaching the striking valley of Glen Coe. Visit Eilean Donan Castle, perched on a tidal island, and continue over the Skye Bridge to reach the Isle of Skye. End the day with a locally sourced dinner and overnight stay on the scenic Roag Peninsula.
Day two is dedicated to Skye’s most iconic sights. Explore dramatic landscapes such as the Quiraing or the Faerie Pools and enjoy free time in the colorful harbor town of Portree. In the afternoon, tour Talisker Distillery and sample one of Scotland’s most beloved exports—single malt whisky. Return to your Skye accommodations for another included dinner.
On day three, visit Rogie Falls and enjoy time in Inverness. Stop in Pitlochry before returning to Edinburgh via the Firth of Forth.
