Venice Rowing & Tasting
Step into the heart of Venetian tradition with this unique tour celebrating the city’s cultura acquea—its deep connection to the water. Learn the art of voga alla veneta, the iconic standing rowing style made famous by gondoliers, aboard a traditional batelina. Glide through the quiet canals of Cannaregio as you master the basic strokes, then row out into the open lagoon just as the sun begins to set. Once you've worked up an appetite, dock along the lively Misericordia canal for a well-earned reward: a cicchetti and Spritz tasting at two authentic bàcari (Venetian wine bars). Guided by a local expert, you’ll sample a delicious array of Venetian bites—like creamy baccalà mantecato, savory polpette, and rich crostini with speck and truffle. This unforgettable tour blends hands-on heritage with culinary discovery for a truly authentic Venetian experience—off the beaten path and into the soul of the city.
