On this extraordinary excursion, guests will depart Bilbao in the morning and journey into the heart of the historic Gipuzkoa province. After passing through the villages of Eibar, Elgoibar, and Azkoitia, participants will stop in the pilgrimage town of Loyola to visit the spectacular Sanctuary of Loyola and its basilica and tower house. The tour will continue through the town of Azpeitia and north to the picturesque coastal town of Getaria. Here guests will have the chance to visit the medieval Arch of Catrapona, the Church of San Salvador, and the town’s bustling fishing port. Participants will then depart Getaria and pass through the 19th-century resort town of Zarauz before arriving in San Sebastian. After a panoramic tour of the city, including sensational views of La Concha Beach and Mount Igeldo, guests will enjoy a walking tour through San Sebastian’s charming Old Town. Participants will have free time for lunch on their own before returning to Bilbao in the afternoon.
