Shared Tour: Gallerie dell'Accademia and Dorsoduro District
Artistic masterpieces and authentic neighborhoods shape this guided walking experience through Venice. The tour begins near Calle Larga dell’Ascension, followed by a short walk to the Gallerie dell’Accademia. With skip-the-line access, participants enjoy a guided visit to one of Venice’s most important art collections, featuring Venetian painting from the 14th through the 18th centuries. Highlights include works by Bellini, Giorgione, Carpaccio, Veronese, Tintoretto, and Titian, with expert commentary providing cultural and historical context.
After the museum visit, the experience continues on foot through the Dorsoduro and Santa Croce districts, offering a quieter perspective on daily Venetian life. The route passes Campo San Barnaba, the historic Ponte dei Pugni, and the Church of San Sebastiano. The walk concludes in San Trovaso, home to one of Venice’s last active squeri, where traditional gondolas are still built and maintained today.
