Guests will spend the afternoon discovering the magnificent Chateau de Versailles that once served as the French royal residence. This half day adventure shared with a small group, promises an intimate and personalized experience. From the centrally located meeting point in Paris, guests will drive in a small vehicle to the magnificent city of Versailles where the UNESCO-listed palace is located. This sprawling palace complex also includes the splendid 18th-century Royal Chapel. At the King's Grand Apartment, they will see the sumptuous decor of the rooms done up in marble and gold, each with their own purpose. Guests will walk around the Hall of Mirrors where the historic peace Treaty of Versailles was signed. There are numerous other rooms to be explored such as The War Room, the Queen's Grand Apartment, and the Hall of Battles. Guests can then enjoy a leisurely stroll around the beautiful gardens surrounding the palace, on their own. Depending on the day of the week, guests might be able to view the musical fountain show or see the musical garden. Afterwards, they will head back to Paris.
