On your excursion to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, to the highest railway station in Europe, you will climb to an altitude of 3,454 metres above sea level and reach the alpine mountain world. In summer and winter, temperatures below freezing point are to be expected and weather changes can also occur at short notice. We recommend that you dress according to the so-called "onion principle" so that you can adapt your clothing to the conditions. The basic equipment for the excursion includes a jacket, closed shoes, a hat, a pair of gloves and sunglasses because of the high-altitude sun.
