Private Tour: 2.5 hours Swiss Food and Culture Tour
This guided experience introduces guests to the flavors and traditions of the Interlaken region through a relaxed journey across town and into the countryside. The tour begins at a local chocolate shop, where participants discover the origins of chocolate and learn about its production while enjoying a generous tasting. The experience then continues to a local woodcarver’s workshop, offering a closer look at one of Switzerland’s most enduring crafts and the chance to admire the artistry behind each handmade piece. After a short walk through central Interlaken, guests visit a small farm in nearby Matten to sample a variety of locally produced cheeses and gain insight into the role cheesemaking plays in Swiss culture. The visit also includes time inside the barn, where participants can meet the cows and experience daily farm life up close. The tour ends in Matten near the local bus stop.
