Private Full Day Santorini Villages, Akrotiri, and Village of Oia Tour With Wine Tasting
This private, full-day tour will start with hotel pickup in a comfortable chauffeured vehicle, leading guests to Profitis Ilias, Santorini's highest point, for sweeping island views and memorable photo opportunities. Participants will then explore Megalochori, a traditional village known for its Cycladic houses, neoclassical buildings, and cave-style dwellings. The journey then moves to Akrotiri, a well-preserved ancient city buried by a volcanic eruption, often called the “Greek Pompeii.” Here, guests will take a guided walk through parts of the site via wooden pathways, getting a glimpse of life in the Bronze Age. Next, guests will unwind at Perivolos Beach, famous for its unique black sands, with two hours to swim or enjoy lunch at nearby restaurants (at their own expense). A visit to a local winery follows, where participants can taste Santorini’s distinct wines and learn about the island’s unique wine-making traditions. The final stop is Oia, renowned for its stunning caldera views, where guests can explore before returning to their hotel.
