Small Group: West Highlands, Glencoe & The Jacobie Steam Train Day Tour
Discover some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes and landmarks on this full-day experience, complete with a ride on the world-famous Jacobite Steam Train. Departing from Glasgow, this scenic journey begins with a drive through Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, followed by a stop in Glen Coe to take in the towering peaks and rugged beauty of the Highlands.
Continue through Rannoch Moor to Fort William, where the Jacobite Steam Train begins its route. This heritage train travels along the dramatic west coast, crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct—famous for its appearance in the Harry Potter films. Arrive in the coastal town of Mallaig with time to explore and enjoy lunch. Known for its fresh seafood, Mallaig offers plenty of local flavor.
The return journey follows the Appin coast past Kilchurn Castle and the shores of Loch Awe. Stop in Inveraray for a short visit, then end the day with sweeping views from the Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint before returning to Glasgow.

Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated when accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark. Please note there are some uneven paths and uphill slopes when visiting the castles which could make it difficult for wheelchair users.
