Private Brittany and Mont St Michel 2 Day Tour with Fully Licensed English Speaking Driver-Guide
Departing from Paris with hotel pickup, this private two-day journey explores Normandy’s pivotal World War II sites and the iconic Mont Saint-Michel. Traveling with a licensed driver-guide, participants first visit Pegasus Bridge, captured by British forces in the opening hours of D-Day. The route continues to Arromanches to view the remains of the Mulberry Harbor and reflect on the scale of the Allied landings. At Longues-sur-Mer, preserved German artillery batteries overlook the coast. After lunch at a local restaurant, the day includes the American Cemetery at Saint-Laurent, Omaha Beach, and Pointe du Hoc, where U.S. Rangers scaled the cliffs on June 6, 1944.
Day two features a guided visit of Mont Saint-Michel Abbey, founded in the 8th century and renowned for its Romanesque church and Gothic cloisters. Time is set aside to explore the village before returning to Paris.
