Small Group Tour: Afternoon Champagne and Family growers From Reims - 2PM ***VENDOR VOUCHER***
Vineyard-lined roads and historic villages set the tone for this small-group afternoon experience in the Champagne countryside. Departing from Reims, participants travel by comfortable minivan into the heart of the region, with scenic stops among the vines to learn how soil, climate, and grape varieties shape Champagne’s distinctive terroir. The route continues to Hautvillers, a charming hilltop village known as the birthplace of Champagne and the burial site of Dom Pérignon. Time is set aside to explore the village and understand its lasting influence on winemaking history.
The afternoon includes visits to two family-run wineries, where traditional methods and personal craftsmanship take center stage. Guided cellar tours reveal each producer’s approach, followed by tastings that highlight a range of styles and expressions. With a maximum of eight people, the experience feels intimate and unhurried, offering meaningful interaction with local producers before returning to Reims.
