Montserrat’s panoramic views and the flavors of Pla de Bages come together on this small-group day trip. Guests explore the Monastery and Basilica with a local guide, then enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time. They can take in the scenery, follow the trails, or browse the farmers market at their own pace.

The journey continues to Oller del Mas, a family-owned castle-winery dating to 964. A guided estate visit introduces travelers to this historic setting in the Pla de Bages wine region. Guests then savor traditional Catalan tapas and dessert, complemented by a tasting of three regional wines. From Montserrat’s religious landmarks to the castle estate, the day pairs guided exploration with time to enjoy the scenery and local flavors.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Montserrat and the Bages region may be cooler or more extreme than Barcelona; check the forecast and bring water in summer. 

Children aged 3 or under travel free without a seat or meal and must sit on an adult’s lap.
