Shared Tour: Skip the Line Prado Museum and Royal Palace
Travelers discover two of Madrid’s most iconic landmarks in one morning, the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. The experience begins with priority entry to the Royal Palace, an 18th-century Baroque masterpiece built on the former site of the Habsburgs’ Alcázar. Covering 135,000 square meters, it stands as the largest royal palace in Western Europe. Inside, explore the Grand Staircase, Throne Room, Royal Chapel, and the ornate apartments of King Charles III and Queen Maria Amalia. The palace now serves as the setting for official state ceremonies and royal receptions. After the guided visit, the group enjoys a scenic walk to the Prado Museum. Home to more than 1,000 works spanning four centuries, the museum showcases masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, Sorolla, and Bosch. After the tour, travelers may remain in the museum to continue exploring its remarkable collection independently.
