Wind through Tuscany’s rolling hills en route to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its preserved medieval character. Brick palaces and narrow lanes define the historic center, where centuries of banking, art, and civic pride shaped the city’s identity. From Piazza Salimbeni, home to one of Europe’s oldest banks, the walk continues to the striking Duomo di Siena, known for its striped marble façade and intricate interiors.

In Piazza del Campo, one of Europe’s finest medieval squares, guests learn about the Palio horse race held twice each summer, a tradition that has united Siena’s districts for generations. The journey then unfolds across vineyard-dotted landscapes toward San Gimignano, the hilltop town famed for its medieval towers that once symbolized wealth and power.

From panoramic viewpoints overlooking the countryside, participants take in sweeping Tuscan vistas before continuing on to their hotel in the Tuscan winelands.
