Shared Tour: Glacier Canyon Grindelwald
Nature’s raw power and quiet beauty come into focus at the Glacier Canyon Grindelwald, where millennia of glacial movement have carved a dramatic landscape of soaring rock walls and rushing water. This immersive experience invites exploration of a narrow gorge shaped by the former Grindelwald Glacier, revealing a fascinating blend of geology, history, and myth. Secured walkways and tunnels lead through the canyon, where the sound of the Lütschine River echoes between cliffs rising up to 300 meters high.
Informative displays along the route deepen understanding of the forces that formed this environment, while the consistently cool air adds to the otherworldly atmosphere. A standout feature is the Spiderweb, a suspended net stretched above the gorge that offers a thrilling new perspective straight down into the canyon below. Thought-provoking and visually striking, the Glacier Canyon offers a memorable encounter with the alpine landscape.
