Shared Tour: Luxembourg and Dinant: The Beauty of the Ardennes
Journey beyond Brussels to discover the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Ardennes, with visits to Luxembourg and Dinant in one full-day experience. The day begins with a scenic drive through rolling countryside to Luxembourg City, a vibrant capital where medieval fortifications meet modern European institutions. A guided visit introduces the Old Town, including the Cathedral, the Grand Ducal Palace, and Place d’Armes, along with sweeping views of the Alzette River valley, the historic Casemates, and the Kirchberg district.
Time is set aside for independent exploration before continuing to Dinant, a picturesque town dramatically set along the Meuse River. Highlights include the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame and the hilltop citadel. Known as the birthplace of Adolphe Sax and home to the renowned Leffe beer, Dinant offers a charming and memorable contrast to Luxembourg’s cosmopolitan atmosphere. Seasonal routing ensures the best possible daylight experience throughout the year.
