Our Golden Circle private tour allows you to experience some of Iceland’s most stunning sights including the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and the historical and geological wonders at Þingvellir national park where the North-American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart as well as being home to the site of the world’s oldest parliament Althing.
What to expect: Full day guided private tour in a comfortable vehicle. Þingvellir national park. The magnificent Gullfoss waterfall. Geysir geopark with Strokkur geyser. Optional stop at Efstidalur farm restaurant (meals not included). Optional stop at Fridheimar green house restaurant (meals not included).
Þingvellir national park
The historical and geological wonder that is Þingvellir national park is home to the site of where the North-American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart. Þingvellir is also home to the site of the world’s oldest parliament Alþingi which was founded in the year 930 AD. Þingvellir has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list ever since.
Gullfoss waterfall
Gullfoss waterfall tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 meter (105 ft.) deep. The waterfall derives from the river Hvítá and offers exceptional scenery and views showing the true beauty of Iceland’s nature.
Geysir geothermal area
The Geysir geothermal area is home to the geyser Strokkur which shoots a column of water up to 30 meters (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of natures forces.

Pick ups begin approximately 30 minutes prior to the tour's start time.

Entrance to Geysir multimedia show, meals, beverages, gratuities, anything not aforementioned.
Meeting point:
Due to a new regulation passed by the local authorities in Reykjavik, vehicles operated by travel companies can no longer access certain parts of the city. If your hotel falls within this zone, you will be required to walk to/from your hotel to the designated pick-up/drop-off point – this should be no further than a 5 to 10 minute walk. Please call the service supplier listed above for confirmation of the pick-up/drop-off point.
