Shared Tour: Avila and Segovia Full Day Tour
Guests will set off on an exciting journey to explore the historic cities of Avila and Segovia on this full-day tour. They will meet their guide at a central point in Madrid and embark on a comfortable bus ride. The first stop will be Avila, known for its remarkably preserved fortified walls dating back to the 11th century. On a walking tour of the city, participants will learn about the 2500-meter wall and its 90 towers, which encircle a wealth of Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces, and the 12th-century fortified cathedral. The guide will provide insights into the city’s rich history as they admire its UNESCO World Heritage-listed landmarks. After Avila, the tour will continue to Segovia, where guests will marvel at the well-preserved Roman aqueduct, stretching over 10 miles. Guests will also visit the elegant Segovia Cathedral, often called the "Lady of the Cathedrals," and the striking Alcazar, one of Spain's most spectacular castles. After a day filled with history and culture, guests will return to Madrid, enriched by their experience.
