Shared Tour: Shared Tour- Normandy and the Landing Beaches Motorcoach Tour
Reflect on one of the most pivotal moments of the 20th century during this full-day guided excursion from Paris to the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy. Traveling by air-conditioned coach, guests depart the city at 7am and journey through the Normandy countryside to explore the sites where Allied forces changed the course of World War II on June 6, 1944.
The day begins at Pointe du Hoc, where dramatic cliffs overlook the English Channel and reveal the strategic importance of this battlefield. At Omaha Beach, participants stand on the sands stormed by American troops, gaining perspective on the scale and sacrifice of the operation. The visit continues to the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, where nearly 9,400 white marble headstones honor those who fell.
Additional stops include Arromanches, site of the Mulberry artificial harbor, and Juno Beach, where Canadian forces landed. The tour returns to Paris around 8pm.
