Oslo to Bergen: Flåm Railway with overnight in Flåm including Fjord Cruise – One way
Norway's most celebrated scenic journey unfolds over two days, connecting Oslo and Bergen through an extraordinary sequence of fjords, mountains, and legendary railways. On day one, travelers board the Bergen Railway from Oslo, ascending through sweeping highland plateaus to the mountain station of Myrdal. The iconic Flåm Railway, one of the world's steepest, then descends through dramatic gorges, rushing rivers, and thundering waterfalls to the charming fjord village of Flåm, where the evening invites exploration along the water's edge before an overnight stay. Day two begins with a silent, zero-emission electric cruise across the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, framed by sheer 1,700-meter cliffs and cascading peaks, before arriving in Gudvangen. A scenic bus journey through the spectacular Nærøydalen valley, where towering cliffs rise to 1,800 meters on either side, continues to Voss, and a final train ride delivers travelers into the heart of Bergen.
Please note: This itinerary includes an overnight stop in Flåm between day one and day two. Overnight accommodation in Flåm is not included and must be arranged separately prior to travel.
