Guests are collected from the hotel and transferred to Ano Mera, one of the island's most traditional villages, where a private escort shares the story of the village's distinctive role in Mykonian life before the hike gets underway. The trail runs for approximately 1 hour, passing the Fokos Dam, a stopping point for migratory birds during the appropriate season, before descending to one of the island's most secluded beaches. Untouched by umbrellas and sunbeds, the beach offers a rare stretch of undisturbed coastline with clear water for swimming. Guests have time to take in the surroundings and swim before a private car returns guests to the hotel.
