Scenic, culturally rich, and home to many of France’s most historic structures, your three-day private driver guide led tour starts in the beautiful Brittany region and finishes at the nearby Mont-Saint-Michel, the world’s most legendary island monastery.
Day 1. In the morning visit the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Chartres, the lavish 800-year-old UNESCO recognized church that marks the high point of French Gothic art. Next, enjoy private tours of Chambord and Chateau de Blois, two of the Loire Valley’s finest chateaus and stunning examples of the grand architecture and gardens that make chateaus such icons of the French aesthetic. Continue to history-rich Rennes and the ancient walled city of Saint-Malo.
Day 2. Your day starts in Dinan, a stunning medieval city perched high above the River Rame, followed by the mighty medieval Fort La Latte. Then you will head to Montmarin where you will visit the amazing gardens of la Malouinière le Montmarin.
Day 3. Spend the day on a private tour of Mont-Saint-Michel , the one-of-a-kind island monastery and commune set on an island about a half mile off the coast that is only accessible during low tide via a path that Celtic, Roman, and Christian worshipers have dutifully taken since at least the 6th century A.D. After lunch, enjoy free time to explore the narrow streets of Mont-Saint-Michel .
