This tour begins at the stunning Panathenian Stadium, built for the 1896 Olympic Games on the site of the ancient Athenian stadium. After a brief photo stop at the Panathenian Stadium, guests will pass by important city landmarks including the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the National Gardens, and the Greek Parliament with the traditional Evzones guards.
The tour then continues to the Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring iconic monuments including the Parthenon. After exploring the Acropolis, guests will walk downhill to the Acropolis Museum, showcasing ancient artifacts in a modern setting.
Guests will then enjoy free time for lunch in the picturesque Vouliagmeni area before embarking on a scenic drive along the Attica Riviera to Cape Sounio. There, they will visit the ancient Temple of Poseidon while learning about the myths and history connected to this spectacular site.Following free time at Cape Sounio, the tour returns to Athens, concluding a memorable day filled with history, culture, and breathtaking coastal scenery.
