Setting out into the calm waters of the caldera, the route passes through some of Santorini's most dramatic volcanic scenery, with sheer cliffs and the outline of the submerged volcano defining the horizon at every turn. On board, hammock-style nets at the bow offer a comfortable spot to sunbathe, while the main cabin provides welcome shade when the midday heat peaks. The captain anchors at a carefully selected spot, giving guests time to swim and snorkel in the clear turquoise waters of the Aegean before the crew serves a freshly prepared lunch on board.
