Small Group: Cooking Class in Levanto - An Authentic Experience in a Private Home
Discover the flavors of Liguria during a small-group cooking experience set in a private home in Levanto. This hands-on class offers an authentic introduction to regional cuisine, guided by a knowledgeable local chef.
The experience begins with a traditional aperitif before participants step into the kitchen to prepare a selection of classic dishes. Under expert guidance, they learn to craft corzetti, a distinctive Ligurian pasta, along with other fresh pasta variations made from scratch. The class also highlights the preparation of traditional Genovese pesto using a mortar, blending basil, garlic, and pine nuts in accordance with local tradition. To complete the menu, participants prepare tiramisù, one of Italy’s most beloved desserts.
After cooking, the group gathers to enjoy the meal together, accompanied by local wines and espresso. Blending culinary techniques with regional flavors, this experience offers a memorable introduction to Ligurian food culture.
