Small Group: Magical Highlands – Glencoe and the Glenfinnan Viaduct
Discover Scotland’s dramatic Highlands on a full-day journey from Edinburgh through lochs, glens, and mountain scenery. Travel north past Stirling Castle and cross the Highland Boundary Line into the Trossachs, where a stop in Callander offers a relaxing break.
Continue through the wild beauty of Rannoch Moor to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes. Towering peaks and sweeping valleys create an unforgettable backdrop, while the region’s history adds depth to every view.
After lunch, visit Glenfinnan, set above Loch Shiel and surrounded by striking mountain scenery. Travelers can see the Glenfinnan Monument and the famous viaduct known to many Harry Potter fans. On some departures, the Jacobite Steam Train may also be seen crossing the bridge.
The return journey features more Highland views, forested Perthshire, the rolling countryside of Fife, and a final look at the UNESCO-listed Forth Rail Bridge.
