Guests discover Montserrat’s religious landmarks and Catalan wine traditions on a day trip featuring an exclusive cellar experience. A local guide leads a tour of the Monastery and Basilica, followed by extended free time on the mountain. Travelers can take in the surroundings and explore independently before continuing into wine country.

At Oller del Mas, a guided estate visit introduces guests to the setting for a tasting of three wines from the Pla de Bages region. A Catalan lunch adds local flavor to the day, without rushing the focus away from the wine experience.

The visit continues with a private tasting in the aging room, where guests sample three additional premium wines. This intimate finale complements the estate visit and brings together Montserrat’s mountain atmosphere, Catalan cuisine, and regional wine.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Montserrat and the Bages region may be cooler or more extreme than Barcelona, check the forecast and bring water in summer. 

Children aged 3 or under travel free without a seat or meal and must sit on an adult’s lap.

Late arrivals and no-shows may be rescheduled free of charge but are not refunded. Supplier confirmation is required regarding restaurant lunch versus tapas at the winery. The winery and/or restaurant may be substituted if unavailable, and the order of visits may change.
